Right now almost everyone has a copy of the book. My fingers are crossed for this weekend Lyric and Emma! As soon as I get them I will bring them to your classroom.
In the meantime, here's a question:

Why do you think Conrad threw his bike into the river?
Do you think he wanted Jessie Lou to get it back for him?

Hmm I think Conrad threw his bike in the river because he can't use it, he has a leg brace!!!! I think he doesn't want Jessie to get it for him he's just frusterated that he can't ride it.
ReplyDeleteYeah I think Ariana is right! I also think he is frusterated because people don't care about him as much as they did before he got the leg brace! I wonder what would happen if he didn't need the leg brace anymore. Do you guys think he will become popular again?

i think he threw his bike in the river because he was just really frustrated because maybe he thought that beeing seen with jesse lou would make him even less popular.
