Hi Everyone,
I'm so glad you're using the comments to talk about the book!
Right now almost everyone has a copy of the book.  My fingers are crossed for this weekend Lyric and Emma! As soon as I get them I will bring them to your classroom.
In the meantime, here's a question:

Why do you think Conrad threw his bike into the river?
Do you think he wanted Jessie Lou to get it back for him?

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to our blog!  Take a minute to test out the comments section.  Say hello to the other club members or talk a bit about the reading we have done so far.  Maybe you could post one of your favorite expressions from Jessie Lou.  Or let us know what your favorite part of the book is so far.  I think my favorite would have to be when Jessie Lou is describing the first grader dropping his lunch.  That part reminds me of some first graders I know from Tesago!
